Agelef is looking for an experienced Chartering Administrative Assistant.
The successful candidate will support a busy chartering team, coordinating logistics internationally, including dry and tanker department support as well as other administrative duties:
§ E-filing / filing
§ Maintaining record of fixtures
§ Checking Charter Parties when required
§ Answer and redirect telephone calls including shipbroker and customer interface
§ Make travel arrangements
§ Liaise with remote Operations, Finance and IT Department
§ Monitor office supplies
§ Assist with visitors
§ Updating daily tanker fleet position list for website
§ Assisting with tri-weekly tanker reports / quarterly reports
§ Updating port costs database
§ Checking Clean Fixture Recaps
§ Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the Maritime field
§ Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a ship owning/operating environment or broking agency
§ Adept knowledge of Chartering terms will be considered an asset
§ Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook and Powerpoint tools
